Včera jsem dostala dopis z Ruska od Igora, majitele ,,naší,, roční švycké holčičky Felicity. To, že jsou naše švycké odchovy výstavně velmi úspěšné je celkem známá věc. Z Igorova dopisu, který mě nesmírně potěšil, je zřejmé i to, že naši švyčtí odchovánci mají i vynikající nadání pro lov. Ráda se o tento dopis podělím i s Vámi. Za jeho překlad děkuji Radce Dudlové, jinak šťastné majitelce švyckého fešáka Dantíka.

Felicita je v pořádku – už je jí rok, vyrostla a nabrala rozum, přestala doma dělat nepořádek a co je nejdůležitější, stal se z ní skutečný honič. Nejlépe jí jde honit zajíce, přičemž sama se velmi rychle učí a je vidět, že má honění v genech. Pak už jen stačí jí správně vést a ona se v podstatě učí sama. Jejím nejoblíbenějším zvířetem je zajíc, liška jí v podstatě nezajímá. Z počátku mě to mrzelo, ale na zajíci vše vynahradila. Když bylo ukončení lovecké sezóny, sama zajíce vystopovala, zvedla z místa a honila a naháněla po dobu 3 hodin. Byl jsem šťastný. Dnes už jenom sní o vycházkách do lesa. Stačí se obléci, vzít do ruky GPS a ona začne takové představení, že dokud nevyjdeme ven, neuklidní se. Běžně psi začínají dobře pracovat ve věku 1,5-2 roky. Ovšem já jsem se přesvědčil, že ona vše zvládne již nyní. Je připravená dostat zkoušky na zajíce již v tomto věku. Ještě trochu potrénujeme a půjde na zkoušky, kdy bude muset sama v lese najít, hlásit, zvednout z místa a minimálně hodinu zajíce nahánět lovcům a to vše za přítomnosti komise, která musí vidět práci psa a ten musí zajíce nahnat ke komisi. Pokud vše zvládne, dostane diplom a bude moci chodit na výstavy v pracovní třídě. Výstavy začínají koncem března a určitě na ně budeme chodit.

Vím i o chystaných sourozencích a přeji Terezce, aby se stala šťastnou maminkou krásných štěňátek. Nastudoval jsem všechny rodokmeny a jsem si jistý, že kromě toho, že budou krásná, budou mít i skvělé lovecké geny.

During last weekend, I received the letter from Russia from Igor – the owner of „our“ one year old schwyz girl Felicita. I’m realy happy with this message, because I can see that our puppies are not „only“ beautiful, but that they have very good hunting genes too. I’ll share with you some small parts of this nice letter (the video from the hunt is here on this LINK

…Felicita is doing fine, she is already one year old and she is getting more and more reasonable  and she is stopping step by step to make a mess. And what is the most important, she became the real hunting-runing dog! The most interesting for her is the run after hares! She is learning alone and very quickly and it means that she has it in her genes. I only follow her and I help her to find the „correct way“. Yes, she likes a lot hares, but she doesn’t want to run after the fox. At the beginning I was a little bit disappointed by this reluctance, but her results with hares made me realy happy and I forgot foxes. During the termination of last hunting season, she had a great result! She found a hare, she forced him to leave and she run after him for three hours! At this time, she is realy dreaming only about the walking in the forest. You can’t imagine this show she does, when I take GPS and my outdoor clothing :-) Her actual knowledge corresponds to the age of 1,5 – 2 year! So good is she! We have to train a little bit more and in few weeks she will be ready for pass the examination (find a hare, announce him, force him to leave and run after him at least for one hour and all this with the presence of the committee). If she is successful, she will start to participate the shows in the working class. The shows start here in Russia since March and definitively we are going to participate.

I know well that you are going to have new Felicita’s sisters and brothers. I follow regularly your website. I wish to Terezka to be a happy mum of nice and healthy puppies. I have studied all pedigrees and I’m sure that they will be nice with very good hunting genes.
